Talent Acquisition Assistant

Do you enjoy connecting with people? Would you like to expand your recruiting expertise?  Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will work closely with hiring managers and the HR team to support the recruiting process for positions at our corporate office. You will play a key role in enhancing our candidate and employee experience, while ensuring the highest degree of operational excellence across our talent acquisition team.

What’s the role about?

Coordinating Recruitment Activities

  • Posts jobs on internal and external career portals and screens applications
  • Conducts phone interviews and schedules candidate interviews, managing all interview logistics
  • Initiates and manages candidate background check processes, escalating issues as needed
  • Assembles employment offer packages, process new hires, and takes oversight of due diligence documentation      

Improving our Process

  • Maintains, monitors, and analyzes staffing reports with detailed and accurate information; runs reports as needed
  • Assists in making recommendations for process improvement to further drive results and ensure a positive customer and candidate experience     

Supporting our Partners

  • Acts as a key contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing reliable and timely resolution to inquiries
  • Contributes to special projects as needed

 

What will you bring to the team?

  • One or more years of experience in administration, ideally with exposure to Human Resources or Talent Acquisition 
  • Highly organized with a proven ability to prioritize time to efficiently complete tasks
  • Impeccable follow-up and attention to detail; excellent written and verbal communication skills, editing and proofreading
  • Professional approach with the maturity to manage highly sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Ability to anticipate needs, recognize problems and offer creative solutions, with a mindset of continuous improvement
  • Technically savvy, with proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Collaborative team player with superior influencing skills, who build relationships easily across various stakeholder groups to move initiatives forward
  • Prior experience with recruitment technologies is an asset
