ALT Recruitment Partners is hiring a Recruitment Specialist in Toronto. We are in the people business and having great people on our team is everything! We are looking for an enthusiastic, resourceful and self-directed person to manage the first stage of the recruiting process and support the Partners throughout the full recruitment process. This role is ideal for someone looking to start and build their career in the recruiting industry. Note: This is an internal role at ALT.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Administrative/clerical support to Partners: scheduling interviews, meetings and calendar management, preparing materials, reports, and document management
  • Sourcing candidates, via progressive research methods, for key clients
  • Interact with and evaluate potential candidates (both passive and active), by telephone, online, and in person
  • Maintain candidate databases (via our internal and Applicant Tracking Systems)
  • Draft advertisements and post job opportunities
  • Develop client and talent pipelines
  • Conduct reference and background checks
  • Willingness to complete other tasks requested

  • Are competent in the following platforms: G Suite (Google for Work), Bullhorn (Applicant Tracking System), LinkedIn Recruiter, Adobe Acrobat.


Requirements / Qualifications

  • College Degree preferred
  • HR diploma, certificate or CHRP designation an asset
  • Previous office/clerical experience preferred, ideally in a recruitment or sales environment
