Children’s Treatment Network (CTN) provides clinical assessment, intake, service navigation, coordinated service planning, specialized clinics and rehabilitation services for almost 20,000 children and youth with special needs and their families. We work collaboratively with partners across the community, education and healthcare sectors to support families where they live their lives: at home, in schools and in the community. We also work to improve the system that supports families by providing training, system leadership, access to resources, information, events and tools that help ensure families receive integrated care.
As a member of our Board of Directors you can expect to volunteer approximately 8-10 hours a month and share your leadership, expertise and governance experience at the board level and sit on one of our committees (audit and finance, governance or quality). As a community member on one of our committees you can expect to volunteer approximately 4 hours a month, share your expertise and build your governance experience.
It is important that CTN’s board and board committees reflect the diversity of communities we serve. Lived experience as a person with a disability or family member of someone with special needs is highly valued in this role. We are also looking for individuals with professional experience in any of the following areas: finance/accounting, communications/government relations, strategic planning and/or human resources. Applicants should live or work in Simcoe County or York Region and have a strong commitment to CTN’s vision of building brighter futures together. CTN is funded by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services.
