Provides strategic and operational leadership in planning, designing and implementing initiatives and best practices with regard to talent acquisition. Develops selection tools which, in addition to other features, promote employment equity, diversity, inclusion, the creation of pools of qualified candidates, onboarding and integration of new employees and the establishment of a professional recruiting and compensation network. Manages the job evaluation process, labour market studies and compensation projects and programs.

  • Undergraduate degree in human resources management or a related field 
  • At least 10 years’ experience in human resources positions of increasing responsibility, with preferably at least 5 years’ experience as a manager 
  • Experience in implementing strategies involving talent acquisition, compensation, and job evaluation 
  • Accreditation in human resources management, or membership in a relevant professional association (HRPAO, ORHRI, CRHA, etc.), is an asset 
  • Experience in designing and implementing new projects and programs 
  • Ability to plan in the short, medium and long term, and to take appropriate action to reach objectives 
  • Ability to communicate internally; ability to rally the organization’s managers around new talent acquisition and compensation strategies 
  • Excellent knowledge of federal and provincial laws and regulations that relate to human resources management, particularly those that relate to talent acquisition and compensation 
  • Excellent leadership skills and highly developed sense of customer service 
  • Sound judgment in interpreting and applying rules and procedures, and in evaluating business risks 
  • Excellent ability to analyze, synthesize and solve complex problems; ability to analyze data and statistics and use this information to improve processes and customer service 
  • Proven organizational, time management and multitasking skills and ability to meet tight deadlines 
  • Bilingualism – French and English (spoken and written)
