We are currently recruiting for a Human Resource Business Partner to work with Vice-Provost Students for this exciting opportunity.
Are you a Human Resources professional with experience working in a unionized environment? Do you have experience administering and interpreting collective agreements? Do you possess strong business acumen including relationship building, coaching, influencing and relationship management skills? Do you have a strong understanding of employment and human rights legislation as well as thorough knowledge of human resources theory and related practices? In this role, you will support the Division of Students organization in the provision of a wide range of operational, generalist Human Resources responsibilities. Act as a resource to central Human Resources in the development and implementation of Division of Students and University Human Resources programs, policies and procedures ensuring that both University and departmental requirements are achieved.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will possess:
A University degree in Human Resources or Business Management or equivalent required. Human Resources training/certification preferred. CHRL/ CPHR certification required. Conflict resolution training/certification is an asset. In addition, the successful incumbent will possess a minimum of 4 years generalist human resources experience in a unionized environment (including experience working with business leaders in a consultative capacity). Experience administering and interpreting collective bargaining agreements required. Experience in organizational development, change management, continuous process improvement initiatives and process documentation an asset. Experience in a University environment preferred.
