In this role you will be responsible for developing, implementing and executing non-academic Human Resources client-focused strategies, processes and services that directly support the Faculty in achieving its short and long-term goals. You will work collaboratively with their team and leaders from across LA&PS to foster a culture of excellence and inclusion that will attract, retain, develop and motivate qualified and engaged employees. Working closely with the Executive Director, you will have accountability for the Faculty’s HR processes and analytics, strategic workforce planning, talent management, organizational development, employee relations, and HR partnering functions.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will bring the following:
Post-secondary education in human resources management, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. The Certified Human Resources Leader/Professional (CHRL/CHRP) professional designation is required. A Master’s degree in a related field is preferred. In addition, you will bring a minimum of 2 years of proven progressive leadership experience, with a minimum of 5 years working in a human resources generalist capacity, including labour relations experience in a multi-union setting is required. Experience working in a post-secondary, government, hospital or other complex public sector setting is preferred.
