As a key enabler of business success and performance, the National HR Business Partner is responsible for aligning people to strategy, creating the right culture and developing future organizational capabilities that are critical for success. Its scope covers workforce strategy & staffing, talent management, competency management and employee relations.

This National role reports solid line to the Vice-President, Human Resources Canada, and dotted line to Business Vice-Presidents.

Be the primary HR interface to Business Entity leadership:

Understand Business Strategy and articulate HR Strategy to support it
Coordinate and guarantee that HR campaigns & policies are being correctly carried out around Group values
Support Sr Leaders and People Managers in the HR & organization management, with the local support of the Regional HRBP
Know in-depth Entity talents, and build robust succession plans for critical roles
Contribute to employees' professional development, focusing more specially on high potentials and talents (Individual Development Plan). Ensure the right resources are at the right jobs within the entity
Own the Competency Master plan, working with Learning & Development organization to determine developmental needs for the organization linked to our business and talent strategy
Contribute to the design of organizations (skills, resources, processes) to suit business challenges and HR strategy
Lead change management process during the introduction of new initiatives or transformation projects
Be the HR Communication Conduit and take employee entity pulse
Actively support and facilitate implementation of our People Vision
Determines and recommends employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale
Lead transversal HR projects at the Country level
Maintain a strong knowledge of current HR practices and trends and apply them to the business


Education: Bachelor's degree / Master in Human Resources. MBA is a plus

HR Generalist background with broad knowledge of workforce strategy and staffing, talent management, competency management and employee relations. Strong leadership skills

From 7 to 15 years' experience gained through increasingly responsible management positions within Human Resources

Strong business acumen and curiosity

English required, French is an asset
