Reilly Security is a service-driven security services provider focused on superior client support, staff training and development, employee motivation, and ensuring low turnover for our partnering clients. Reilly Security services commercial, industrial, and residential clients across the Greater Toronto Area. Our services include security guards, mobile security solutions, concierge services, loss prevention & asset protection, and other services typically performed by licensed security guards.

We are currently looking for a full time Recruiter/Trainer to join our small but dynamic environment.

Working independently, this position will be responsible for the following:

  • Full cycle recruitment of full-time, part-time and contract employees including: developing job postings/ads, sourcing candidates, pre-screening, interviewing and reference checking.
  • Develop cost-effective and creative sourcing strategies to continually build a diverse pipeline of top candidates.
  • Stay current with industry and staffing trends and compensation data.
  • Proactively source passive candidates through a variety of channels including social media.
  • Develop and maintain a strong relationship with all candidates to keep them engaged through the hiring process.
  • Build strong relationships with key managers to partner on recruitment initiatives, and provide with high quality candidates to help drive business results.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders including a high level of communication on the process and status of open positions.
  • Continually build brand awareness in the market by holding and attending career fairs.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with Community Colleges as a recruitment avenue.
  • Provide administration and coordination for all recruitment activities
  • Conduct new hire orientation, training and onboarding

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • 3 – 5 years high volume full-cycle recruitment experience.
  • Previous experience in the security field would be an asset.
  • Self-starter, with strong initiative.
  • Highly organized.
  • Strong decision making skills.
  • Desire and ability to ‘think out of the box’ and execute creative and pro-active sourcing strategies for difficult to fill positions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, relationship, time management and networking skills.
  • Skilled at working under pressure with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work with tight timelines and deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of employment related legislation across Canada. Ability to work effectively in an independent role within a team environment across all organizational levels, where collaboration, adaptability and flexibility are critical.
  • Strong proficiency in MS office applications.
  • Ability to produce recruitment reports as required.
  • Previous experience in the security field would be an asset.
