Are you looking to utilize your HR management skills with a highly engaged, non-unionized workforce and for an organization named an AON Best Employer in Canada in 2017?  Do you have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills? Idea Exchange is seeking a Human Resources Manager for our organization who will continue to promote a strong employee-oriented culture in our public library and gallery operations.

As Human Resources Manager, you will contribute to the success of the organization by providing leadership in the development and administration of procedures pertaining to recruitment, selection, performance appraisal system, staff development and other human resource related activities.

To be qualified for the role, you must have a post-secondary degree in Human Resources Management, Social Sciences, Public or Business Administration and be a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP, CHRL or CHRE), as well as 5 years HR experience with 3 years in a management capacity.  Payroll knowledge and certificates in Workplace Investigations and/or Occupational Health and Safety would be an asset.

This is a full time permanent position (35 hours per week).
