Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital (Holland Bloorview) has a vision to create the most meaningful and healthy futures for all children, youth and families. In support of this vision and in keeping with its new No boundaries 5-year strategic plan, Holland Bloorview is bringing on a new Senior Director, Information Management & Technology and Chief Information Officer.
Reporting to the Vice-President - People, Corporate Innovation and Services and acting as a key member of the senior management team, you will plan, coordinate, foster innovation, create a culture of innovation to fulfill the requirements of the Digital Health Strategy, direct, and design all operational activities of the health information, clinical information systems, data analytics and information technology department, as well as provide direction and support for digital solutions. You will collaborate directly with the executive management team and decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology and data governance solutions for all aspects of the organization.
As the ideal candidate, you are an IT executive with experience operationalizing Information Management and Technology strategies within a healthcare setting. You bring experience in practical application of IT project management methodologies. You balance strategic thinking with operational leadership and an affinity for collaborative decision-making. Experience with Meditech health care information systems and other digital health solutions would be an asset.
