HUMAN RESOURCES BUSINESS PARTNER
Term Position for 18 Months - Ottawa, Canada
As a Human Resources Business Partner for a client portfolio, you will provide frontline integrated HR solutions for all levels of IDRC staff in Ottawa. In particular, you will make a difference by providing strategic HR leadership, advice and guidance to directors, managers and employees and by putting creative solutions in place to meet operational challenges, and to add strategic value. You will partner with clients in a diverse range of areas such as: workforce planning, job classification and organizational design, international and national talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, learning and development, performance management, and employee relations.
Overview of Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration or other related fields
- Five years of experience in providing strategic advice and guidance to all levels of staff in the areas of workforce planning, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, performance management and employee relations
- Experience recruiting at the international level is an asset
- Bilingual position requiring English and French languages skills at an advanced level.
- In-depth knowledge of human resources trends, disciplines and best practices
- Broad knowledge and understanding of relevant HR legislation, policies and processes
