Incentive Compensation:  Target is %15 of base salary

A Senior Mergers & Acquisitions Consultant works independently with direction of the Engagement Manager in the context of an M&A project and reports to the M&A Market Leader. The Senior M&A Consultant exercises independent judgment to provide leadership and infrastructure development, management and improvement. The Senior M&A Consultant also supports cross line of business M&A business development and contributes to building M&A Consulting Services/Solutions through participation in management, operations and special projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Works with M&A Engagement Manager and/or M&A Market Leader; M&A Coordinators and other nominated LOB consultants by providing project management leadership to ensure the successful delivery of client solutions.
  • Leads in the delivery of culture, playbook, training and other project deliverables.
  • Leads the due diligence process and transition projects.
  • Leverages LOB consultants to deliver on subject matter expertise. Oversees team members throughout the projects
  • Participates the client-facing activities to ensure the closure of value added opportunities for the client
  • Participates in client-facing business development activities such as researching clients, development of prospects/offerings/proposals/Engagement Letters/SOWs, conducting conflict checks and managing other M&A protocols, managing invoicing requirements, etc.
  • Manages medium to large-scale M&A projects  

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in an HR consulting environment
  • Experience with global M&A projects University degree required (Master’s degree is an asset) Fully fluent in spoken and written English
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple complex projects
  • Ability to think strategically and problem-solve
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with colleagues and clients
  • Ability to plan, analyze and coordinate activities and establish priorities
