Job Details:
The Analyst role is responsible for supporting, coordinating and administering Total Rewards programs and policies for Canada and Cayman Islands. It will also be essential for the role to provide excellent customer service to all levels of the organization in regards to benefits and pension and educating employees on our programs on an ongoing basis.
The primary responsibilities and duties include:
- Coordinating administration of annual compensation review processes.
- Compiling compensation data for submission to market surveys.
- Assist in analyzing job descriptions and job evaluations.
- Research compensation and benefit programs and policies and update internal documentation as required.
- Support the global mobility program and other immigration requirements in monitoring work permits and coordinating the submission of time sensitive applications
- Full-cycle administration of company benefits and pension plan – enrollments, terminations, updating life event changes, data entry to HRIS and benefit provider system, while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and legislative requirements
- Manage monthly payments to pension plan and health plan administrators for both Canada and the Cayman Islands
- Communicate plan provisions, relevant legislation and procedures to plan members
- Respond to complex/interpretative queries by employees and investigate issues as required
- Interact with external benefit program vendors and work closely with internal HR and Finance teams
- Monitor disability leaves and respond/investigate escalated queries.
- Plan and coordinate wellness events and programs.
- Provide reports and analysis on HR metrics and other ad-hoc requests.
- Perform other general HR administrative duties.
Qualifications: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in compensation job analysis using structured evaluation tools (e.g./HayGroup or Mercer)
- Experience working with Canadian pay equity programs (federal or provincial)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience administering benefits and/or retirement savings plans
- Experience with researching and writing Human Resources Policies.
- Experience with HRIS applications preferred.
- Post-secondary education in human resources, business, or a related program.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel with an ability to work through large data with ease and create accurate reports.
- Client focused, excellent communication skills, detail oriented and must be able to meet tight deadlines.
