We are looking for a new team member to join the Human Resources team at Laurentian Bank Financial Group (LBCFG) and its subsidiaries.
Based out of Burlington, with the ability to regularly travel to our Toronto locations, the HR Advisor will provide HR support to assigned businesses within the LBCFG group of companies.
Responsibilities:
- Provide HR Consulting to assigned businesses
- Partner with managers to interpret and implement HR policies, practices, and procedures
- Lead delivery of HR processes across businesses
- Partner with Recruitment Team to drive the Talent Acquisition strategy
- Champion the intern program within the LBC Capital business
- Respond to employees on HR questions/issues regarding compensation, benefits, or other HR services
- Identify, analyze and integrate different sources of information to track HR challenges and identify emerging issues
- Participate in committees and special projects
- Apply knowledge of legislation and trends related to human resources to protecting and enhancing our businesses
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources
- University education in a related field
- Hands on approach, combined with big picture thinking
- Analytical, rigorous and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), French language skills are an asset
- Very good command of Microsoft Office software.
- Self-motivated team player with high energy and ability to work independently
