Our company’s 2020 vision is to double our sales and our employees. Wurth Canada is continually growing and has a great opportunity for you. We are looking for a dynamic Talent Acquisition Specialist for our head office in Guelph, Ontario.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Human Resources & People Development, you will be an integral part of the HR team within Wurth Canada. You will be responsible for:

  • Over-seeing full cycle recruitment and managing day to day recruitment operations with the team
  • Work very closely with all hiring managers in developing strategies and implementing new way to recruit the right people
  • Post advertisements for recruitment in appropriate job boards and social media
  • Receive, review and select resumes for first step in recruitment process
  • Conduct phone interviews
  • Select candidates for first interview and conduct face to face interview with them and the hiring managers
  • Conduct employment references, background and criminal checks
  • Responsible for all onboard package (hire package, offer letter, announcement)
  • Responsible in reducing fluctuation percentage and any extra cost to fall under our recruitment budget.
  • Conduct job fairs with universities and colleges to promote the company
  • Communicate new processes, procedures. Perform other special recruitment projects as assigned
  • Ongoing recruitment reporting to the management teams
  • Some travel within Canada is required; both day and overnight

Our Ideal Candidate

  • 3+ years of experience in a high volume recruitment environment
  • Bilingual French & English (spoken and written) is a strong asset
  • Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills
  • Skilled in managing multiple priorities
  • Ability to travel occasionally and work outside normal business hours
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Bachelor degree or certificate in Human Resources Management.
  • CHRP/CHRL designation considered an asset
