We are currently hiring 2 Human Resources Generalists to join our Home Office team in Mississauga. Each Generalist will support our business in different ways and both will be important members of our Human Resources team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Recruitment
- Primary point of contact for all open positions. This role will post all open positions, screen resumes and complete all phone screens. Will work with the hiring manager to conduct interviews for Home Office positions and where necessary Field Operations positions. Coordinate home office orientation programs and ensure store orientation programs are updated as required. Administer the Company’s onboarding program for Home Office and our Stores.
Training & Development
- Administer, coordinate and assist in the development of the Company’s organizational development and training programs. Manage the Company’s bench strength program. Work with the Manager to administer our Talent Management Program.
Reward & Recognition
- Provide assistance in the creation of reward & recognition programs while administering the current programs in an effective and timely manner.
Associate & Program Support
- Act as first point of contact for Associates
- Analyze, prepare and distribute various reports as required.
- Provide support in the coordination and administration of various HR initiatives.
- Other special projects as required.
Minimum Requirements:
- 1-2 years previous working experience in a Human Resources role including some experience with recruiting
- College Diploma in Human Resources or a related discipline
- Strong computer skills (excel, word, internet)
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments
- Excellent written and verbal communication and active listening skills
- Strong sense of drive and initiative
- Ability to handle sensitive and personal information in a confidential manner
- Strong interpersonal skills and detail oriented
- Good organization and time management skills
