The Human Resources Branch is looking for a Manager, Workplace Well- Being. This is a permanent position. The position is classified as an RÉ-06 ($78,788 to $106,412 per annum). Candidates have until November 1st, 2019 to submit their application.

THE POSITION
This exciting newly created position will shape the workplace well-being program, an important component of the NCC framework for engagement. In addition to developing mental and physical health initiatives, the incumbent will manage the occupational health and safety program and will spearhead the prevention and resolution of harassment and discrimination situations. The incumbent will offer informal conflict resolution services to maintain a positive work environment. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
Language Requirement: CBC
Experience:
- 3 years of experience in developing and implementing HR programs.
- Experience in developing and delivering training or awareness sessions.
- Experience in managing harassment complaints and /or internal disclosures.
- Experience in providing advice and recommendation.
- Experience in preparing administrative documents such as reports and presentations
Knowledge:
- Of current HR trends and practices.
- Of federal legislation related to health and safety and particularly to harassment and violence in the workplace.
- Of the National Standard for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace
Abilities:
- To communicate effectively both orally and in writing in both official languages.
- To synthesize information and provide advice and recommendation.
- To analyze problems and issues and provide objective recommendations.
- To interact with colleagues with diplomacy, tact and discretion.
