Founded in 1911, the Professional Golfers’ Association of Canada (PGA of Canada) is a member based non-profit organization representing more than 3600 golf professionals across Canada and the world. It is the second oldest and third largest PGA in the world and is highly regarded and respected in the world of golf and as one of the oldest sports organizations in Canada.

Employment Manager

Reporting to and working closely with the Chief Innovation Officer in this new role, your responsibilities will include planning, enhancing and coordinating new programs and services to PGA Canada members. You will collaborate with key stakeholders and hiring managers while educating and promoting the benefits to all golf facilities in Canada on the value of hiring a PGA of Canada Professional. Along with this, you will provide support to PGA of Canada members ensuring the right skill sets are developed and in place in order for them to pursue any career opportunities where the skills and credentials of a PGA of Canada professional can be utilized.

You will also provide support to recruitment strategies to increase the membership base while promoting the profession of golf through innovative and cohesive programs and strategies to enhance new employment opportunities for PGA of Canada members within the golf industry.

Work involves prioritizing, organizing, multi-tasking and effectively driving change through innovation and analytical thinking.

Combined with rounded presentation and strong communication skills, we require a Bachelor level education with at least five years of experience in employment planning or related area dealing at all levels in project and client service delivery.
