Board Member Opportunity – non-profit

If you're interested in access to justice and social advocacy, there's a great opportunity right now to get involved: West Scarborough Community Legal Services (WSCLS) has an opening for a volunteer to sit on the Board of Directors. The Board typically meets in the evening one day per month and at the AGM in September. Board members are also expected to sit on one or more committees. In total, the time commitment per month can be expected to be between four to eight hours.

Our clinic is looking for someone who works or lives in Scarborough and the desire and commitment to serve the local community through this position. No prior board experience is required, nor is it necessary to be a lawyer or paralegal. Given the current mix of skills we already have on the Board, it would be "nice to have" someone with experience with talent management/HR.

Please contact Cheryl Cheung - info@cherylcheung.com if you have any questions or if you are interested in applying. LinkedIn -  https://www.linkedin.com/in/cherylkycheung.
