The Role

Our Toronto office is looking for a Talent Coordinator to join our team!

The Talent Coordinator will provide exceptional support to the Talent Management team in the areas of administration, recruitment, onboarding, talent management, learning & development, and other HR processes.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruiting by generating requisitions for approval, create and maintain job descriptions, post jobs, screen applicants, schedule interviews, some phone screens, offer letters, etc.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding and employee departures
  • Work closely with the Talent Management and Talent Operations team to input, submit and process employee changes
  • Create and maintain accurate and confidential personnel files
  • Remain detail orientated when preparing and drafting forms, letters, reports and memos
  • Assist in audit programs
  • Review and audit reports, and follow up when required
  • Communicat employee changes to internal stakeholders
  • Respond to internal and external Talent related inquiries, incluing employment verifications
  • Education employees and manager on Talent programs, policies and legislation
  • Participate in the Talent team initatives and projects
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience required
  • A Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent administrative, organizational and time management skills
  • Detail oriented is essential
  • Must be able to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise discretion
  • Works well independently and on a team
  • Strong working knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Previous experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). UltiPro/Ultimate Software, Lattice and/or iCIMS considered an asset
  • Strong customer service orientation
