JOB DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the Manager of Healthy Workplace and Organization Development. The Senior Organization Development Consultant is a strategic partner in creating an effective organizational climate at Lakeridge Health that delivers on our vision of "One System. Best Health". OD plays an integral role in supporting and enhancing the success of Lakeridge Health team members by fostering an innovative climate of professional and personal growth.

DUTIES & RESPONSBILITIES:
*To support and manage large-scale change initiatives in a very complex stakeholder environment, from design and implementation through to evaluation and maintenance;
*To guide the design, development and program management of organization-wide learning solutions that support a blended learning culture; including online, experiential, and collaborative learning for Leaders and Staff;
*To establish and cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels in order to establish the conditions for effective engagement to support the delivery of key strategic priorities and ensure outcomes are successfully achieved;
*Liaise with Senior Management, presenting at SMT and Board as required;
*Mentoring Organization Development Team Members;
*Consulting and coaching, building relationships with leaders, and sharing organization development expertise;
*Develop and implement a customized competency framework that is informed by external leading best practices and internal insights/feedback and supports the objectives of our strategic plan;
*Development of advanced leadership competencies through ongoing Leadership Summits and other opportunities;
*Develop and implement a succession planning framework to build a talent pipeline;
*Revitalize Corporate Orientation and develop onboarding; setting up staff for success from point of hire to full integration; ensuring development of key skills based and mandatory education requirements. Ensure implementation and maintenance of the program;
*Creation of Onboarding and Orientation program for New Leaders combining management essentials, critical competency training, and orientation, including peer-to-peer support. Ensure implementation and maintenance of the program;
*Identify other corporate recognition practices/opportunities to ensure team members feel recognized and valued for their contributions, exemplifying our values and supporting a healthy respectful collegial place of work;

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Provides coaching, facilitation, team development, whole systems analysis, and OD services in consultation with executives and leaders to implement organizational improvement initiatives;
*Support the OD Team through mentorship and providing subject matter expertise to our work;
*Implementation of Prosci's Change Management framework and methodologies to support adaptation, agility, and acceptance of change within an environment of rapid growth and complex work;
*Support other OD Team initiatives such as Engagement Survey, Performance Management, eLearning, Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity initiatives, and other OD Team work
*Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
*University degree in Adult Education, Organization Development, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related subject. Master's degree an asset.
*Several years demonstrated experience in adult learning principles and methodologies (needs assessment, instructional design and development, delivery, evaluation, measurement methodology), change management methodologies, eLearning, and leadership development.
*The following certifications are an asset: Certified Human Resources Professional designation, Certified Training and Development Practitioner, and Certified Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute
*Certification in Crucial Conversations, Crucial Accountability, Franklin Covey or any other highly sought after development and coaching programs in healthcare is an asset;
*Proven ability to develop and deliver programs to all levels of the organization, up to and including senior leaders.
*Demonstrated skills in extensive consultation, coaching, change management, project management experience required;
*Excellent presentation, writing, facilitation, research and analytical skills;
*Strong interpersonal skills that support formation of business relationships and open and honest dialogue;
*Able to maintain confidentiality concerning sensitive issues in a professional manner;
*Excellent organizational and time management skills; strong project management skills with proven ability to successfully manage timelines, milestones, and critical paths with minimal supervision.
