HUMAN RESOURCES BUSINESS PARTNER
The Human Resources Business Partner delivers both strategic and tactical HR support and programs to employees and managers, including performance management, organizational design, learning and development, compensation programs and all aspects of employee/labour relations. Working with an assigned client group, the HRBP will proactively identify opportunities to enhance the employee experience and partner with management to develop and implement innovative and sustainable people solutions to drive organizational health. Responsibilities include:
- Provide advice and guidance to leaders and employees on the interpretation and application of Collective Agreements.
- Consult and coach all levels of management to build and serve high performing, diverse and inclusive teams.
- Build credibility and trust among employees; resolve employee concerns with compassion and follow-through.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators to track business metrics.
- Consult and advise on talent reviews and driving the annual performance review process.
The successful candidate will possess a University or College Diploma (or equivalent experience), current CHRP/L designation, and 5 to 7 years of experience in a Human Resources generalist role, preferably in a unionized manufacturing environment. Excellent verbal and written communications, time management, and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are also essential.
