As a member of Collectivfide’s management team, the Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for liaising with brokerage managers and licensed professionals to understand critical and forward-looking skill and competency requirements in support of Collectivfide’s overarching business objectives. Based on business informed findings, the HRBP will contribute to improving organizational effectiveness through innovative and practical Human Resources solutions. As a primary contact person between the business and employees, the role serves as an excellent communicator, aligning interests among multiple stakeholders, promoting a collaborative workplace environment, and addressing organizational and employee needs alike.

The HRBP can expect to:

• Oversee talent acquisition processes, including the development of professional position profiles, positioning the organization favourably in relevant talent markets, ensuring fair and unbiased selection practices, and the creation of seamless employee integration processes.

• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and tools to prevent and manage challenges in the areas of employee ethics, organizational culture, and individual and team performance.

• Lead the team in operationalizing hybrid work arrangements, addressing ambiguity to minimize disruptions to operations and offering support in all relevant communications channels.

• Work collaboratively with management team colleagues in the creation of a positive, internally and externally consistent organizational culture, which effectively cultivates the Collectivfide brand.

• Identifies and supports the development of individuals for mission-critical roles through the management and delivery of succession readiness.

• Recommend compensation structure(s) for both Collectivfide and partner brokerages which reflect Collectivfide’s compensation philosophy and financial targets.

• Apply your knowledge of regulatory and legal compliance issues relating to employee/employer relationships in a balanced, professional manner.

• Enable co-worker employee health and wellness outcomes, linked to progressive human capital strategies and initiatives.

Key Qualifications:

Professional education and experience in human resources, management consulting or similar within a relevant business discipline, e.g. B.Comm., BBA or HBA

• CHRP required. CHRL preferred

• 2+ years of business experience in the Canadian property & casualty insurance industry, or equivalent

• 2+ years in a coordination, supervisory or management role, with human resources experience effectively balancing employee and employer needs

• Proven success in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a strong emphasis on tight timelines and practical, yet professional delivery driven by business needs

• Extensive experience with MS Office applications, capable of identifying and preparing people related data confidentially for management information, business insights and projections

• Demonstrated ability to present and communicate with impact and empathy through clear messaging, active listening, and positive inquiry

• Able to adapt and tailor different styles when communicating to different audiences or stakeholder groups

• Partner experience in supporting a division or significant business unit, or a strong supporting role in a progressive small to mid-size organization

• A track record of relating to people, retaining them, and advancing their skills and careers in line with evolving business opportunities
