Senior Advisor, Pension and Benefits

As the Senior Advisor, Pension and Benefits, you plan, organize, design and evaluate Pension and Benefits programs, you plan and develop long range objectives and strategies for pension and benefits programs, you oversee and conduct research and development of pension and benefits policies and programs. This includes providing advice on pension and benefits issues and strategies to executives and senior managers.

As the Senior Advisor, Pension and Benefits, you initiate pension and benefits policy amendments to reflect new developments, legislative changes, union initiatives and court/tribunal decisions. You lliaise with external organizations, such as consultants, insurance companies, government departments and agencies, in conjunction with appropriate division personnel. You oversee the renewal of the insured employee benefit plans contracts including funding, design, communication and underwriting provisions, in conjunction with the appropriate division personnel.
