Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Director of Human Resources provides strategic and operational leadership to the full range of human resource management functions for Stanfield’s. The Director of Human Resources is responsible for building the human resources function to meet the strategic needs of the organization and supporting the organization as it grows, developing human resources policies, practices and programs. The successful candidate for this position will have the opportunity to develop and promote a unique corporate culture and environment for a dynamic organization.

As the ideal candidate, you are a strategic and energetic senior HR professional with strong technical knowledge of the full breadth of human resources functions. You bring a minimum of ten years of HR generalist experience including employee relations, total rewards (compensation and benefits), policy and program development, talent management and a wide range of HR programs and services. You are a respected and trusted decision-maker with a track record of success as a leader and manager of people. You demonstrate sound knowledge of employment standards and relevant legislation and are recognized for your strong communication and relationship-building skills. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Qualification and Education Requirements:

  • Degree in HR Management and/or CPHR and/or equivalent experience;
  • Experience leading and developing an HR team would be an asset;
  • Experience with HRIS implementation or an in-depth experience using HRIS;
  • Experience providing oversite to health and safety programs;
  • Experience with recruiting and employer branding in a rural setting an asset;
