In this role you will be responsible for providing a wide range of strategic and operational HR generalist support to the non-academic functions of the Schulich School of Business (Schulich). You will contribute and play a key role in the strategic planning process and will provide support to the Executive Officer by developing strategies to meet current and future human resource requirements and operational requirements of Schulich. In addition, as the first contact for the provision of HR related issues for Schulich, the you will provide a range of administrative functions including talent acquisition and development, labour relations support, legislative, policy and collective agreement compliance advice, performance management, health and safety and accommodations.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will bring the following:

University degree in Human Resources or Business Management or equivalent required. Human Resources training/certification preferred. CHRP / CPHR certification preferred. Conflict resolution training/certification is an asset. Training in Six Sigma and/or project management principles preferred. A minimum of 4 years generalist human resources experience in a unionized environment (including experience working with business leaders in a consultative capacity). Experience administering and applying collective bargaining agreements required. Experience in organizational development, change management, continuous process improvement initiatives and process documentation an asset. Experience in a University environment preferred.
