- Consults and provides guidance, advice and HR expertise to client groups on day-to-day people issues and activities associated with the region’s business operations in areas such as employee relations, performance management and staffing
- responds to client inquiries with respect to the clarification, interpretation or execution of HR policies and procedures, the terms of the collective agreements and conditions of employment
- fosters consistency of HR practices
- ensures understanding of the business requirements of their client groups and provides assistance and support for the development, implementation and administration of HR programs and Shared Services to meet those needs
- champions and/or participates in key HR projects and initiatives in support of corporation’s vision, mission, strategy and culture
- supports recruitment efforts and assists in onboarding of new employees
- must be bilingual (EN and FR)
- this position involves travel between locations, including travel between Montreal area and St. Catharine's
