About the Role

We’re looking for an organized, bilingual and relationship-driven HR Coordinator who is ready to join us on our journey of growth! You will work alongside our fast-paced HR team to support talent management and people leaders with the full spectrum of our employees’ HR needs. What You Will Be Doing

  • Owning the full cycle recruitment, including building relationships with community centers, schools, and non-profits to build candidate pipelines
    • Creating and posting job advertisements, screening and interviewing candidates
    • Creating and administering language, skills, and personality tests
    • Onboarding new hires and completing hiring documentation and security clearances
  • Writing employment letters, memos, health & safely talks, and internal correspondence
  • Assisting the JHSC at head office, and assisting work sites with their JHSCs
  • Assisting the HR Business Partner with the return-to-work program and Workplace Safety & Insurance Board cases
  • Complete annual health and safety audits at all sites, providing recommendations and best practices to management and ensuring critical recommendations are adhered to, with follow-up inspections
  • Review, edit and translate internal documentation (English/French)
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new policies and procedures
  • Other administrative duties, as required

Skills and Qualifications

  • Fully Bilingual French/ English
  • Must be eligible to obtain a Secret Level security clearance, which requires at least 10 years living in Canada
  • Completed certificate/degree in Human Resources or the equivalent knowledge gained through work experience is an asset
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with an HRIS or ATS
  • Proficiency with MS Suite
  • Strong emotional intelligence
