Reporting the Vice President, Human Resources, we have an excellent opportunity for a payroll and benefits professional to lead our payroll, compensation and benefits team. As Sr. Manager, Total Rewards, you will be wholly responsible for the administration of a multi-provincial payroll and maintenance of all Canadian pension and benefit programs. We’re looking for someone who knows how to look at compensation in innovate ways to promote Brink’s as an employer of choice in a competitive marketplace. This position offers the opportunity to continually evolve through systems and process improvements along with promoting employee development.
As a key member of our Human Resources Department, you will
- Oversee the administration of three payrolls (weekly, biweekly, and semi-monthly) with both union and non-union employees.
- As the subject matter expert, work with key stakeholders’ groups to review, assess, and provide operational solutions needed for the satisfactory processing of payroll, benefits and pension
- Oversee the administration of benefit and pension plans for the Canadian organization, including negotiations and recommendations on plan design
- Actively manage the national rewards and recognition program to drive employee engagement
- Manage the compensation strategy for Brink's Canada, including administration of key compensation plans
- Ensure our time and attendance program is at its best – identifying and implementing process improvements that drive efficiencies
- Working with various stakeholders to provide reporting and analysis pertaining to compensation, pension and benefits; provide expertise during collective bargaining
What you bring to the team:
- College or university education in finance/economics, human resources, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years experience in payroll, benefits and human resources, preferably with multi-national organizations
- Functional experience in Canadian payrolls within a unionized environment
- Strong employee benefits knowledge and skills, a high level of functional domain expertise in rewards program design and strong pension knowledge.
- High level of detail, ability to adapt to evolving environment and process improvement mindset
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong working knowledge Workday, or similar enterprise level program
- CHRL and/or CPM designation, or working towards designation, preferred
- Working towards CCP or CEBS is an asset
- Bilingualism in English and French an asset
