POSITION SUMMARY:

We are currently recruiting for an exceptional Senior Talent Acquisition Partner with an entrepreneurial spirit and ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment.

Working in collaboration with hiring managers and HRBPs, this individual will lead full-cycle recruiting effort for multiple business units across Medline Canada, including posting, sourcing of diverse candidates, selecting and placing qualified candidates into open positions. S/he will lead the process of identifying and recruiting top talent to various departments.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for all levels of positions in assigned divisions (operations, corporate and sales).
  • Work in collaboration with the HRBPs to  identify organizational need, job specifications, job duties, qualifications and skills.
  • Develop diverse and inclusive recruitment strategies to hire quality candidates in order to meet the staffing needs of the assigned departments.
  • Develop and maintain a diverse network of contacts to identify, source and attract qualified candidates.
  • Screen potential candidates by reviewing resumes and applications, conducting initial interviews, checking background/references, testing and other approved measures, coordinate offer letters, offer presentation and follow-up correspondence.
  • Provide guidance and accountability for all hiring managers and HRBPs to ensure a consistent, high quality process is followed.
  • Make recommendations of the best qualified candidates and assist with final decision process.
  • Extract and compile data for recruitment metrics and reporting.
  • Comply with employment legislations across Canada and internal processes and procedures in all recruitment and hiring activities.
  • Leverage social media to engage prospective candidates and continue to build a talent pipeline for future roles.
  • Act as a true SME with industry and workforce trends, and translates them to proactive recruiting strategies.
  • Support in driving the organization’s Culture, Diversity and Inclusion strategy.
  • Promote and strengthens the employer brand in the external marketplace across Canada.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • At least 5 years of in-house full-cycle recruiting experience to include at least 3 years of professional, technical, or ownership of high volume recruiting.
  • Demonstrated experience in HR recruiting processes and promising practices (i.e., compensation, employment equity, interviewing skills, diversity sourcing strategies, etc.).
  • Strong proficiency leveraging social media for candidate engagement.
  • Experience with an ATS and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Skills to collaborate with internal/external partners to develop strategies that meet department goals within budget and established timelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and schedule effectively in order to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to assess and respond productively to change in a timely manner.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
