In this role you will contribute to the achievement of the School's mission by exercising leadership in the development and maintenance of a professional, effective, and positive work environment. The Manager will work collaboratively with Lassonde managers to foster a culture of excellence and inclusion that will attract, retain, develop, and motivate qualified and engaged employees.The Manager of Human Resources & Administration is responsible for providing leadership in all areas of human resources and general administration at Lassonde. The Manager provides expert-level advice and guidance on all employee relations matters to the management team and academic administrators related to both non-academic and academic affiliations. In conjunction with the Executive Officer, and in collaboration with the Lassonde management team, the Manager develops strategies, plans, policies, and procedures to achieve the School's short- and long-term goals and objectives in support of Lassonde's strategic plan. Fosters a culture of respect, equity, diversity, and inclusion within Lassonde.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will bring the following:

University Degree required preferably with focus in Business Administration / Human Resources or equivalent combination of education and experience. Human Resources Professional certification is required (CHRL). 5 - 7 years related managerial and human resources/employee relations experience in a large unionized public sector organization. Experience in an educational environment preferred. Demonstrated experience with organizational design and implementation of change. Demonstrated experience and expertise in salary budget planning, conflict resolution, training and development, and health and safety.
