PLASP Child Care Services is a charitable organization operating on a not-for-profit basis, providing high quality early learning and child care, for children up to 12 years of age. PLASP operates programs in more than 230 schools providing before and after school care. PLASP also operates 28 full-day early learning and child care centres and three EarlyON locations for children from 0 – 6 years.

KEY POSITION FUNCTIONS…
The successful candidate will provide a full range of duties, including:

  • Implementing the full PLASP recruitment and selection process from job posting development to employment offer
  • Support the implementation of PLASP’s new Applicant Tracking System
  • Recruitment and selection presentations to attract new talent to the organization
  • Facilitating the on-boarding program for new employees
  • Participate in career fairs
  • Recruitment and selection data reporting and analysis
  • Building strong working relationships with internal employees, hiring managers and external parties
  • Due to Covid-19, occasional remote work environment in place

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE…

  • A University Degree or post-graduate certificate in Human Resources
  • A Minimum of 2 years’ experience in full recruitment cycle
  • A CHRP/CHRL Designation an asset
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Experience in administering online surveys and interpreting survey data
  • Employee on-boarding experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
  • Advanced computer skills, including MS Office, HRIS, and experience with database management systems
  • The ability to act as a team member
  • Awareness of the need for and respect of confidentiality
  • A self-motivated, flexible and cooperative attitude with the ability to accept increased responsibility
