Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Status: Permanent Full Time

Supporting the portfolios of Performance, Learning and Talent Management, this is an important role in our journey to “re-imagine HR’ at UHN, in alignment to the current and future needs of our diverse workforce, as well as the strategic goals and aspirations of the overall organization.

Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with OD team members to manage leadership training logistics, scheduling, intake lists, LMS registration and other related duties
  • Facilitate the use of digital learning tools to support virtual meetings and learning events Support overall Learning Management System (LMS) administration, as required
  • Gather data and leverage technology to support key OD initiatives
  • Maintain related training course content, materials, and other OD documentation Plan logistics, reporting and analysis for HR surveys (eg. engagement, survey monkey)
  • Act as the primary contact for OD inquiries from leaders and employees
  • Support the budget and procurement process for OD, and related activities
  • Update, organize and renew content and design on OD intranet and sharepoint sites
  • Participate in assigned projects to support key HR/OD priorities and/or to improve department effectiveness

Qualifications:

  • University or college degree/diploma in Organizational Development (OD), Human Resources Management or a related field – or a combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent.
  • HR certification (CHRP) would be considered an asset
  • 1 – 3 years work experience in a corporate environment. Experience in an HR department would be considered an asset
  • Strong customer service orientation, with ability to problem solve, anticipate needs, and make adjustments to support the best employee experience
  • Excellent written and communication skills Strong technology orientation, with comfort learning, training, and trouble shooting related HR technologies (LMS, Survey Monkey, Thought Exchange)
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage several tasks concurrently
