The Position 

As part of the North American People Success Team, the Recruitment Business Partner role is responsible for hiring high-calibre talent, at all levels, across Alcumus North America. This role will complete everything from advertising the role, leading resourcing processes to proactively approaching/building relationships with passive candidates in the market, managing stakeholder relationships and developing talent pools for hard-to-fill skill sets.

Responsibilities:

Talent Attraction

Identify and utilize creative sourcing strategies to attract top talent at all levels within Alcumus North America.
Work closely with Hiring Managers, Senior Leadership and People Success Manager to ensure a current and relevant job description (JD) is in place for each vacancy, using this (and input from stakeholders) to formulate a robust sourcing strategy for the role and create attractive job adverts to be placed on suitable sourcing channels.
Manage and attend hiring events (virtual), careers fairs and networking opportunities where possible to support hiring efforts and promote the Alcumus employer brand to attractive markets
Apply creative thinking to identify innovative ways of recruiting to find passionate, curious and driven candidates.


Full-Cycle Recruitment

Conduct interviews to assess candidates; make hiring recommendations; provide support and counsel to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
 

Relationship Building

Develop and maintain working relationships with internal stakeholders to understand current and future recruitment needs and determine optimum sourcing strategies.
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with potential employees, maintaining this throughout the recruitment process to ensure a first-class candidate
 

Consultant

Act as subject matter expert in recruitment, provide feedback and recommendations to both the candidate and hiring manager regarding strengths and development opportunities, to select the most qualified candidate.
Partner with senior business leaders and hiring managers, providing them with expert knowledge and guidance on different recruitment approaches to meet business hiring needs
Conduct regular recruitment review meetings with business leaders to determine the success of the current plans and adjust the hiring strategy/approach were required to meet both business and market demands
Assist hiring managers with interviews, scorecards, providing feedback to candidates, and ensuring equal opportunity is being offered for every role posted.
 

Offers of Employment

Manage the job offer process, including negotiation and background checks.
Communicate offers and rejections, working closely with the People Success Coordinator 
 

Tracking

Maintain ATS – Bamboo, LinkedIn Recruiter and Stack Overflow, to maintain information during the recruitment process; ensuring all information is current and activity is updated regularly.
Collate and communicate weekly recruitment updates, report on candidate funnel, ensuring hiring managers are kept up to date with progress
 

Campus

Build and leverage relationships with schools (college and university) to source and attract top talent

Qualifications

5+ years experience in a full-cycle recruitment specialist role 
Experience in partnering and influencing senior hiring managers and executives throughout the recruiting cycle
Proven ability of proactively sourcing professionals of all levels (Senior - Executive)
Experience using HRIS & ATS (LinkedIn Recruiter - Enterprise, Stack Overflow) to build a strong brand 
Excellent Microsoft Office skills
Strong stakeholder management skills
Ability to plan own work effectively, prioritize tasks and deliver against challenging deadlines
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels- verbal and written
People first, professional approach.
High levels of integrity and confidentiality on all people matters
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, trustworthy and resilient
RPR designation or equivalent an asset

The Process

The typical recruitment process for shortlisted candidates will be an initial conversation with the recruitment team and two/three stages of interviews.

These may take place via telephone, Microsoft Teams or Zoom virtual calls. Please be advised that only those candidates selected for interviews will be contacted.

References will be requested for those candidates selected in the final interview stage.
