Senior HR Business Partner, TD Securities

If yes, then we have an opportunity for you as Senior HR Business Partner. In this role, you will be expected to:

• Provide strategic and consultative support to the TD Securities Infrastructure business including Technology, Business Innovation, Data Governance & Analytics and the Change Delivery  portfolio on HR initiatives to drive business value & growth.
• Act as key contact and deep expert within area of expertise for the development, design and delivery of effective HR plans, policies, programs and advice in support of HR strategies.
• Share specialized expert knowledge, provide consultation and solutions to business management and HR teams.
• Maintain awareness of changing legal/regulatory requirements and practices within the industry and consult with policy/process owners within HR to ensure compliance.
• Adhere to enterprise frameworks or methodologies that relate to activities for own business area
• Consistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence.
• Lead relationships with corporate and/or control functions to ensure alignment with enterprise and/or regulatory requirements.
• Keep current on emerging trends/ developments and grow knowledge of the business, related tools and techniques.
• Recognized as top level expert within their specialization and requires significant in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in a complex field and knowledge of broader related areas
• Senior specialist providing advisory services to executives, business segment leaders and governs the requirements for own work.
• Integrate knowledge of the enterprise function’s or business segment’s overarching strategy in leading program design, policy formulation or operating standards within one or more areas of expertise
• Participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promote service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest.
• Provide thought leadership and/ or industry knowledge for own area of expertise in own area and participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business unit.

• Share your most relevant experience, credentials and knowledge for this role, as well as these essential requirements and attributes:

• Undergraduate degree with over 10 years of work experience
• Graduate degree or Certification in area of specialization is an asset
• Advanced knowledge of multiple HR specialties, HR strategy development, HR policy, consulting principles, lines of businesses supported, banking industry practices, regulations, standards, tools, methodologies
• Sound understanding in own field of specialty to lead, plan, implement and evaluate program/project activities to ensure completion of HR initiatives
• Expertise of using analytical software tools, data analysis methods and reporting techniques, MS Office Suite and Internet applications
• Strong written and verbal communications to interpret policies and apply standards to complete assignments in a fast-changing environment
• An analytical mind with orientation to detail for handling initiatives, projects and programs with minimal direction from management
