Work at CBC/Radio-Canada

At CBC/Radio-Canada, we create content that informs, entertains and connects Canadians on multiple platforms. Our successes and accomplishments are driven by embodying and upholding values, which include creativity, integrity, inclusiveness and relevance.

Do you think you have the ability and drive to keep up with this exciting, ever-changing industry? Whether it be in front of the camera, on air, online or behind the scenes, you would be joining a team that thrives on making connections and telling stories that are important to Canadians.

Are you looking to kick-start your career in the exciting field of Total Rewards?

We are currently looking for a bilingual Junior Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to be exposed to a wide array of areas within Total Rewards. Every day brings its unique challenges. Whether it is being involved in document preparation to update our leadership team on our current initiatives, to assisting with the administration of our various programs or monitoring our data reports, there is always a moment to learn. Our initiatives are wide and varied. You will ensure compliance to Policies and Collective Agreements when making recommendations for completing tasks. If you are a self-starter, driven and willing to take the lead on many concurrent projects, this is the role for you!

Are you a Project Coordinator Wizard?

  • You will be responsible for project coordination and follow-up on actions and initiatives on behalf of the team for assigned projects. You will be managing assigned tasks throughout multiple ongoing projects throughout the year.
  • This includes developing timelines and documents for projects as well as ensuring their tracking and monitoring.
  • There will be occasional administrative support for the Executive Director and team, which may include drafting presentations, organizing meetings, etc.
  • You will need to be comfortable organizing and managing a busy, complex and fast-paced office.
  • Having the ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities and deadlines is a must for this role!

Are you good at spotting the difference between fonts Arial 11 and Calibri 10?

  • Attention to detail and accuracy are key to our success and we want you to review our work and let us know how to make it better. This includes reviewing documents to ensure accuracy of translation.

Do you want to be our Total Rewards representative at various initiatives?

  • CBC/Radio-Canada is the national public broadcaster, and has been serving Canadians for over 80 years. The Total Rewards team played a key role in shaping our history. This is even more critical now as we look at our future.
  • You will be expected to represent the Total Rewards team as a team member at sub-committees as required. You will share acquired subject matter expertise with other team members in People and Culture on an ongoing basis.
  • You will also have the opportunity to establish and maintain liaison/working relationships with internal and external stakeholders across Canada.
  • You will also need to ensure that information and inquiries are directed and processed quickly and efficiently and in a confidential manner.

What other attributes are we looking for?

If you are fluently bilingual in French and English, have a post-secondary degree in human resources management or a related field, and a minimum of 2 years related experience, we want to hire you! A Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation is an asset. And we want to put to great use your analytical skills and will rely on your in-depth knowledge of and experience with computer software including, but not limited to Google (G Suite), MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Livelink, Workday and SAP.

Candidates may be subject to skills and knowledge testing.

If this sounds interesting, please click on ''Apply online''. We thank all applicants for their interest, but only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
