Reporting to the Manager, Recruitment & Retention Programs, the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is a key contributor to our People Strategy team. You are accountable for supporting end-to-end candidate and employee initiatives and HR program support to all CAAT stakeholders within assigned departments. Critical in helping CAAT deliver on its strategic plan, you will act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries while ensuring the delivery of strategic operational human resources programs and tools including job design, full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compensation, HR systems & reporting.

Once here you will:

  • Be the primary contact for managers and employees within assigned departments on all Human Resources matters including recruitment, retention, performance management, job design, employee relations and workforce planning
  • Lead the recruitment and attraction of the talent CAAT needs to deliver on its strategic plan
  • Proactively seek out innovative solutions and opportunities to streamline and automate existing manual processes, build best practices, and enhance how People Strategy delivers services
  • Lead change management and communication initiatives associated with the implementation and ongoing improvement of HR tools and systems.
  • Identify data driven trends, recommend and enable strategic workforce decisions

Relevant qualifications and experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional human resource management experience, highlighting a passion for recruitment, business partnerships and an aptitude for using data to tell a story
  • A university/college degree/post graduate certificate in HR or a related field
  • A CHRP/CHRL designation, or working towards it is strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, an eye for detail and process improvement
  • Demonstrate a strong client service approach, acting as the main point of contact
  • Demonstrated success in adding value through collaboration, demonstrating business acumen and the ability to develop a reputation as a trusted business advisor, demonstrating professionalism, tact and judgement in all situations
  • Previous experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems (ATS) and the ability to translate data into meaningful insights and opportunities
