as a full-time Training Specialist (at our Head Office)

The Training Specialist ensures Kindred staff have access to the training needed to provide the best Kindred member experience. This includes advising internal partners; applying adult learning principles and instructional design theory; designing, developing and in some cases facilitating training. This role will also include some administrative and communication support. Reporting to the Manager, Staff Experience you will be part of an HR department who works collaboratively to foster a culture of engagement and trust.

Plus, you bring your qualifications and experience:

  • 2-4 years’ experience in learning and development or related field
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design theory and implementation
  • Video editing experience an asset
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field
  • Experience with Learning management systems (LMS) and content authoring tools (CAT)
  • Specific experience with Articulate (CAT) and/or UKG UltiPro Learn (LMS) an asset
