The Role

WildBrain is looking for a Sr. Manager, Talent Development to join our Talent (Human Resources) team! Reporting to the VP Talent Management, the successful candidate will assess company-wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives for our employees.  They will also manage many of our human resources programs. If you are passionate about employee development and enjoy project management, this role is for you! 


What You’ll Do:

  • Partner with the talent department and business on the company’s leadership programs, assessing and taking them to the next level
  • Manage and coordinate the organization’s learning and development program initiatives including vendor management, communication, scheduling, follow up, reporting and support
  • Coordinate the roll out of our programs, including the development of promotional materials, presentations, webinars and other communications
  • Identify learning and training opportunities for the global organization as well as support local initiatives
  • Review and enhance our onboarding program for new hires to ensure a consistent and positive onboarding experience
  • Manage our internal performance management platform including driving our global review and feedback process
  • Support our company wellness program including the system, while working to drive and maintain engagement levels
  • Utilize our HRIS for talent reviews and succession and progression
  • Assist with special projects, initiatives, reporting and documentation as required

What You’ll Bring:  

  • Demonstrated experience managing learning and development experience
  • Previous experience managing performance management processes
  • Exposure to succession and progression initiatives
  • A strong ability to manage multiple projects with various deadlines
  • A get it done attitude with exceptional follow up skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Able to work autonomously while moving projects forward
  • Experience with diversity and inclusion in all aspects of talent development
