Our head office is located in Mississauga ON.   The Talent Acquisition Specialist (Corporate) is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and selecting top talent for Bayshore HealthCare’s corporate office.  This position works collaboratively with hiring managers at our National Development Centre to ensure the use of innovative and creative strategies to attract talent to our organization.   

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with hiring managers to ensure a solid understanding of current and future recruitment needs
• Act as a leader in recruitment and come up with proactive and innovative strategies to attract and develop a pipeline of talented candidates for corporate administrative roles.
• Represent and promote Bayshore’s brand and value proposition at external recruitment events in a positive and professional manner.
• Support active candidates throughout the recruitment process and provide a best in-class candidate experience from initial contact to onboarding • Seek out new recruitment channels and present innovative recruitment ideas and solutions to attract talent and build a talent pipeline.
• Manage the full cycle recruitment process from job posting to onboarding
• Participate in the interview process as required
• Develop and maintain key recruitment and selection metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of Bayshore’s recruitment
• Align with the HR Business Partners on the national diversity, equity, inclusion, and HR strategies in order to integrate this in your sourcing and recruitment strategy
• Conduct reference checks, background checks
• Participate on workforce planning teams and work to anticipate the hiring needs of each department
• Responsible for the management of day-to-day operations of recruitment. 
• Creating an effective recruitment strategy and pipelines to access top level talent, while delivering timely and effective customer service and support to internal hiring managers.
• Other duties as required  

QUALIFICATIONS


• University Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management
• CHRP preferred

  EXPERIENCE

•  5+ years of corporate recruitment experience  • Demonstrated experience implementing successful fresh innovative approaches to talent acquisition • Previous experience with Applicant Tracking systems (ATS)
• Proficient in sourcing techniques and social media (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.)
• Experience with Microsoft Office software applications and Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
• Knowledge of employment law related to recruitment.
• Effective influencing and conflict resolution skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively provide timely communication at all levels of the organization
• Team player, who can collaborate well with others and also work independently with little direction or supervision
• Self-directed and solution oriented with a strong work ethic
