Position Summary
The Senior HR Business Partner delivers a range of human resources services and support to defined client group(s).
Accountabilities
- Deliver human resource services and support to designated client group(s) in areas of talent acquisition, talent management, learning and development, total rewards, etc.
- Provide advice to client group(s) regarding effective leadership, HR policies, practices, and employee relations.
- Under the direction of the Director, HRBP, partner with Centre of Expertise (COE) to develop and implement programs and initiatives that align to strategic goals and business priorities.
- Provide feedback to the COEs regarding the effectiveness of programs and products.
- Provide advice regarding changes in the legal framework with respect to employment and identify potential impacts to the business.
- Identify and accelerate the development of the organizational capability through succession planning.
- Manage conflict resolution processes within client groups.
- Understand business needs and challenges and develop fit-for-purpose solutions; request support from COEs as required.
- Build, maintain and leverage business relationships with stakeholders to ensure HR needs are being met in a proactive and strategic manner.
- Monitor compliance with HR policies, procedures, and standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- University degree in Human Resources or related field, and 5+ years of related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- HR designation (CPHR).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- Demonstrated experience in providing services to various stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Good command of employment legislation.
