The Pod Group (PG) is an HR consulting group that provides strategic human resources services for clients in various industries with a growing focus on community-based organizations including health, mental health, addictions, housing and social services.

PG is growing and is in search of talent to join our team. This is an excellent entry-level growth opportunity for candidates who are looking to add valuable experience to their resumes and capitalize on their education. 


The HR & Social Media Coordinator will be a key role in supporting various human resources projects to meet the needs of our clients. The focus will include: 

  • Supporting client projects that range from full-cycle recruitment, strategic and operational planning, grant applications, social media management, and HR planning in meeting client needs. 
  • Supporting with market research, analysis, report writing, and presentations.
  • Connecting with potential clients to generate new client and community relationships in the non-profit space. 
  • Providing insight to potential clients on services offered at PG, including strategic and operational planning, human resources services, and specialized recruitment.
  • Partnering to develop, build, and implement a social media strategy focused on PG's target market of small- to medium-sized non-profit organizations across multiple sectors – establishing a brand presence with an emphasis on building strategic HR partnerships.
  • Developing and implementing a marketing strategy for our clients with the intent to build a campaign, system, and overall process to generate brand awareness and engagement.


  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in human resources, business, marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Experience with grant writing, applications, and/or fundraising is considered a great asset. 
  • Knowledge and experience in the application of social media platforms (i.e., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
  • Content creation experience (blogs, social media posts, memos, newsletters, etc.) would be an asset.
  • Tech savvy with a flair for creativity, innovation and design. Experience in web design would be an asset.
  • Strong eye for design and branding. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills. 
  • Strong research, project management, and analytical skills.
  • A key team player who is willing to support all team members and clients, with a client-centered approach.
