Shared Health Manitoba brings together clinical experts from across the province to deliver a patient-centred, accessible, responsive health system that people can count on.  Shared Health’s scope and services will continue to evolve as part of a Manitoba’s broader health system transformation.  Manitoba's Health System Transformation goal is for health services across the province to meet the needs of the population.  This includes the creation of a provincial health organization, Shared Health, which will enable provincial planning and integration of services, improve patient care and provide coordinated support to regional health authorities across the province - including the recruitment and retention of health professionals - and establish provincial standards of care for all Manitobans.  

The Chief Human Resources Officer provides strategic and operating human resources services to the employees of Shared Health, and a Provincial Human Resources Shared Service Centre (HRSSC) that provides client services and human resources information transactional processing and maintenance services for a multi-enterprise network of publicly funded health system service delivery organizations and providers throughout Manitoba.  

The candidate we seek will possess 15 years of senior management experience leading an effective organization-wide human resources program and team, specializing in the full spectrum of human resources and labour relations management services and programs in a large, complex, dynamic, unionized enterprise and ensuing compliance with accreditation and all applicable employment legislation, personnel policies and organizational standards
