Currently, our Human Resources division has an opportunity for Manager, HR Systems and Analytics, within the HR Systems section. This permanent, fulltime position is based in Tiverton, Ontario (on-site) and offers a competitive compensation, benefits, and pension program.

As Manager, HR Systems and Analytics, you will be responsible for defining the HR Systems roadmap, driving integration and standardization while driving efficiency and productivity for HR, our employees, and the business. You’re passionate about analyzing business needs, evaluating tools and technologies, and building out systems, processes reporting and analytics.    You see every challenge as an opportunity for improvement.  You are a roll-up your sleeves, strategic, HR/technical professional with in-depth knowledge of HR data analytics, reporting and business intelligence.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive innovations that enhance the user experience, support HR process improvement efforts and shape Human Capital Management systems and data strategies. This role has significant impact on the achievement of operational goals by ensuring that HR technology investments meet functional requirements, system and security compliance and interface specifications.

What will you be responsible for?

Being an experienced hands-on leader, you will:

  • Manage the tactical, day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Systems team and actively function as a strategic resource for all Human Resource programs
  • Identify, assess, and anticipate HR-related needs and help develop integrated solutions
  • Support the automatization and development of key reports, analytics, and metrics
  • Formulate partnerships across the HR function and broader business to deliver value-added and efficient products and services (key to this role)
  • Demonstrate a strong initiative and desire to achieve results by being hands-on, collaborative, and excited about how HR systems and data analytics can drive successful HR programs (key to your success)

Knowledge and Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to gather user requirements, build business cases and propose HRIS innovations
  • Ability to effectively set priorities and manage projects simultaneously working under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and ability to engage and influence effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Proactive approach to process improvement and automation
  • Strong project management skills
  • Communication and influencing skills in dealing with project and business stakeholders at all levels and for communicating the key organizational messages
  • Self-motivated and committed to delivering results – pursues objectives with urgency and resiliency
  • Ability to drive HR data quality, define data standards and propose and introduce enhanced dashboards, reporting and analytics

Experience and Education

  • Minimum 8+ years of HRIS or IT experience or related roles in Systems, Data, and Process analytics and/or you’re an HR professional who loves systems, data, analytics, and the technical aspects of HR and bring leadership experience in this area
  • University degree in IT, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field is desirable
  • Technical Skills:
  • Experience with Workday strongly desired – we are a Workday environment
  • Experience with PowerBI, ServiceNow and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions  
  • Deep working knowledge of HR best practices, processes, including payroll
  • Proven ability to identify and act proactively on possible HR systems enhancements that improve productivity and efficiency
  • Experience in leading a team and implementing system enhancements through utilization of strong project management capabilities
