As a bilingual Human Resources and Professional Development (HRPD) Advisor for our new Montréal district office, located in Montréal, QC, you will contribute to our team by:

  • Acting as first point of contact for employees and managers on all HR related matters.
  • Leading talent acquisition efforts and strategy to support new market growth, including launching recruitment campaigns and networking opportunities.
  • Leading the development, execution and evaluation of district-level projects and  initiatives as assigned and support of corporate and regional initiatives.
  • Overseeing our student program strategy and enhancing, growing, and influencing the program to align with district strategies and new market developments.
  • Conducting local market research and analysis for annual compensation review and responsible for administration of annual  salary/ bonus review process.
  • Providing guidance, coaching, and training on all aspects of talent management including career management and succession planning.
  • Delivering district-level training programs, facilitating sessions and conducting training needs analysis and planning.
  • Preparing risk analysis and recommendations for terminations.
  • Identifying and managing risk and opportunities within HRPD processes, projects, or programs.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Postsecondary diploma or degree in human resources or a related field preferred.
  • Bilingual (French / English) (oral/written) required.
  • Working towards an HR designation is preferred.
  • 5 years of progressive HR experience is preferred.
  • Proven understanding and application of HRPD-related and industry principles, practices, procedures, and employment legislation.
  • Ability to deal with people tactfully and respectfully and act with discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and establish and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask conflicting priorities.
