Payroll & Benefits Administrator, Payroll & HR Systems Focus

Permanent, Full-time
Location: Peterborough, ON
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – combination on-site & work from home
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Rate of Pay: Dependent upon experience

As a Payroll & Benefits Administrator you will:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the administration of the corporate payroll function.

  • Support the administration of the benefit program including medical, dental, life, and disability coverage.

  • Administer HRIS updates, provide employee support.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Post-secondary education with an emphasis in payroll administration, or two years of related experience.

  • Two years administration experience.

  • Intermediate and up-to-date knowledge of Accounting policies and procedures as they relate to payroll and benefit reconciliation.

  • Experience with a HR Information System would be an asset.

  • Ability to be thorough, accurate and attend to detail.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and difficult issues/situations with tact, discretion and diplomacy.
