Crown Capital is hiring a Human Resources Manager.

Crown and its developer partners develop on-site power generation solutions that provide electricity under long-term contracts to mid to large scale users such as individual and commercial businesses, recreational facilities, and condominiums.  These solutions provide companies with a compelling alternative to the public utility grid.

Crown and its operating partners develop networks that are critical to the delivery of broadband services in niche markets under long-term contracts to municipal, commercial, and residential end users.

Responsibilities:

  • Help to cultivate a positive work environment to enable a motivated, engaged workforce and help to optimize employee retention through effective, proactive human resource programs and communications
  • Provide HR leadership coaching and advice on human resources management-related matters in accordance with applicable legislations, as well as internal polices, processes and procedures
  • Lead the development and implementation of human resources strategies to create an organizational culture that supports the business mission and strategies.
  • Manage the full cycle recruitment process
  • Manage the benefits program for the organization
  • Lead, develop and implement solutions to assist the organization in achieving improvement in areas, including but not limited to, employee engagement, performance management, recruitment, and organizational development
  • Establish, maintain, and refine human resources related policies and procedures and ensure compliance with labour laws, legislation, and regulations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or professional certification.
  • 7+ years of human resources experience in progressively responsible roles.
  • CHRP designation is an asset
  • Demonstrates well-developed business acumen and understands how to implement/manage change.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and management skills.
  • Detail oriented, pro-active, strong follow-up and investigation skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong adaptability and resourcefulness, capable of drawing creative and forward-thinking solutions
  • Ability to establish trust and credibility, forge strong value-added relationship across the business
  • Ability to understand the business and the challenges by developing and delivering innovative approaches that result in improvements in team engagement, productivity, and organizational performance
