Job Description

This is a 12 month contract with a Target Hiring salary of $36.57-$45.71 per hour. 

SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Manager of HR Analytics & Total Rewards, the HR Business Analyst, Special Projects will provide implementation support to the HR Analytics and Total Rewards team focusing on automating, optimizing, and standardizing our current installation of Deltek (ATS), PeopleSoft, and Kronos.  These projects include:

  • Reimplementation of PeopleSoft foundation tables including Job Codes, Titles, Salary Plans, and Position Management
  • Reimplementation of Custom Union Seniority Process
  • Optimization of Recruitment process including integration between Deltek and PeopleSoft
  • Implementation of new system modules or other quality improvement projects to automate or optimize HR processes
  • Other special projects assigned from time to time

 

The HR Business Analyst, Special Projects requires extensive knowledge of HR systems and processes and collaborates with project stakeholders, IT, and Software services providers to assess, plan, and execute the scope of work. The role will take a lead in gathering and documenting requirements, performing system fit gap analysis, completing system configuration, performing user acceptance testing, training, and procedure documentation development.

 

 QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary degree in Computer Sciences, Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent
  • 3 years of progressive experience in HR Technology system implementation and support; knowledge of PeopleSoft and Kronos is preferred
  • Intermediate to Advanced Skills in MS Excel and SQL
  • Effective communicator and relationship builder - Written, verbal and listening skills to engage stakeholders, truly understand their needs, and influence to deliver best results
  • Strong problem solving and innovative thinking skills, must be able to provide solutions, ideas, and recommendations through effective issue resolution
  • Thorough understanding of functional analysis and system design
  • Demonstrated project management skills with emphasis on managing HR programs & systems
