Job Description
Organizational Development (OD) Partner
6-month contract, full time hours of 35 hours per week
Location – Head Office – Markham, ON (currently remote)
Job Summary:
As a member of the OD team, and reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent and Organizational Development, the OD Partner brings OD experience and contributes to the design and implementation of the many lifecycle initiatives outlined in our Integrated Talent Management (ITM) strategy and roadmap, with specific emphasis on leadership development.
Duties and Responsibilities (are not limited to):
- Provide design and implementation support to programs such as: New Hire Onboarding, New Leader Onboarding, Leadership Competency Development, Diversity Equity and Inclusion, Employee Wellness, and Performance Management
- Provide support to employee engagement initiatives
- Lead learning and development policy refinement and recommendations
Qualifications:
- A degree or College Diploma in Human Resources or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3 years’ experience in a Human Resources department in an OD and/or learning and development related role
- Proven ability to build learning programs with a focus on leadership development
- Strong collaboration skills
- Strong project management skills
- Advanced experience with PowerPoint and Excel
- Organization Development or Adult Education/Learning certificate/program an asset
- Change Management certification an asset
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check (including a Vulnerable Sector Screening) and Pre-Employment Medical assessment
Kinark Child and Family Services conditions of employment include but are not limited to successful Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening, completed Pre-Employment Medical certificate, and proof of full vaccination.
Fully vaccinated is defined as having received all required doses of a World Health Organization Approved COVID-19 Vaccine and 14 days have passed since last dose. Proof of vaccination for each vaccine dose received is required.
