The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting our head office and branch offices in the areas of talent acquisition, benefits, employment onboarding and processing, records management, personnel transactions, and HR analytics.  Reporting to the Human Resources Director, this role will include full cycle recruitment for a variety of roles, administration of our Group Benefit and company benefit plans, HR analysis and reporting, as well as legislation and policy development and a variety of HR projects.  In addition, this position is responsible for maintaining the HRIS and applicant database, salary administration and supporting employee relations and HR/Corporate projects.

Requirements:

  • Over 4 years of progressive Human Resources experience that includes exposure to a variety of HR functions
  • Education in a related field; CHRP(or working towards) is an asset
  • Familiar with relevant legislation (ESA, HRC, OHSA, AODA)
  • Proficient in MS Office software and experience working in an HRMS
  • Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Outstanding time management and follow up skills and able to handle multiple priority projects
  • Ability to multi-task, plan and prioritize and shift priorities quickly
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
  • Maintain sensitivity to confidential matters
